A wonderful presentation – yes, it did make me hungry! However, there were no desserts. My go-to recipe book is “Culinaria Hungary” – for a number of years before COVID, we’d have a house party where I’d cook gulyas with beef (I’d made a separate one out of venison for a friend with a beef allergy) outdoors in a bogracs. Inspired by your presentation, I’m inspired to try some other recipes. Also, I’ve been introduced to tripe soup in Poland by my cousin, and I find it delicious.

Liked the presentation. I’m going to try to make the krumplis teszta. We never ate that home. I loved seeing the parsley potatoes on one of the plates. We ate that a lot when I was a kid but haven’t made it in ages so I’ll have to make that again. I like how they made the rooster crown using bacon.

Good advice to eat something before watching your presentation! It all looked delicious. I didn’t grow up eating Hungarian food but have tried making a few recipes from a cookbook. Hungarian food made by Hungarians would be much better!

I was able to have already tried a number of these dishes on the tours with Liz and Andrea. The gulyas was a go to meal when my cousin and I were on our own. I had the rooster parts stew . We had wild boar stew on one tour at a vineyard. Hungarians seem to take what they have and cook spicing it up with paprika. Thanks for the presentation .
