Dear Timea- What a lovely presentation! It has given me knowledge on some decorated eggs that I have from my mother but I did not know the story and heritage of. Wonderful presentation! Thank you.

Timea, it was so fun to watch you create the pattern on your egg. I have had a bit of experience with the batik process in Ukrainian egg decorating (pysanki), so I was curious to see how Hungarian decorating compared. I was surprised to see how easy it was to create such a beautiful design, and now I think I might want to try my hand at it as well. I wish you were wearing a different color shirt so the egg would stand out more when you held it up, but it was still really beautiful. And I agree – I like the color contrast of the brown egg just a little better. Thanks so much for your time and energy to put this together and share.

Nice to have a fresh look at making the pattern for the egg. I took the class and my pattern was a little shaky, It was easier to see using the Sharpie to see the pattern
