Marianna- I am so delighted that you enjoyed my presentation. It was Belli Tante and my mother’s dream to share these recipes with the world, as they were nearly lost in the war. If you have any questions while your baking, feel free to reach out! Happy baking! [email protected]

Oh my gosh Eve!! So very heartfelt! I just loved your talk, and you are quite a wonderful storyteller! I know your mother and Bella Tonte are smiling down from above!

I am so excited to order the book and try my hand at some recipes. My grandmother Anna Nemeth was older by the time I came along, however, I do remember her making some Dobos Tortes and Nokedle (spelling and punctuation missing) and a few other recipes. My mother made some Hungarian dishes as well. I can just feel them with me as I listen to your story.

                  Thank you – Thank you! 🙂 <3

This was an interesting presentation, beautiful photos of sweets and family and what a story. The presenter has such clear enunciation and good speaking speed. I greatly enjoyed it.

Your story was wonderful and illuminating as it presented a history of Hungary and families who immigrated to the United States, plus great torte recipes. Yumm!!

Dear Eve- I saved this presentation for last became I really had no interest in learning about desserts and tea. However I found the whole story very fascinating and listened to the end. Thanks for sharing and for publishing the book- what a journey to publication! (and now I know why I always liked dobos tort so much better than cake- nut flours.) ty

What a riveting story! I loved the blending of European & American histories, personal family history along with the occurrences of the recipes. Book’s on order!

This was such a fascinating life story! So glad that these recipes have made it through the years and thank you for persisting and getting it published!
