Actually now that I think of it 1995 was not my last class, I returned with my husband for a class in 1998.

Hi Peter,
I’m proud to be a graduate of the Debrecen Summer School which I attended regularly in the early 1990’s when I was preparing to apply for the PhD program at ELTE. I wasn’t there as often as Monika Scheda my friend since we were in the superintensive class winter of 1991( I think!) Edit Hoffman is in my mind still the greatest language teacher I have ever encountered – but there were many other wonderful instructors as well. I think my last class was the Winter Course in 1995 – the Pálinkás Jó Reggelt group. ( Somewhat notorious for our sense of humor) Debrecen prepared me well for my time studying at ELTE and was also a wonderful cultural experience. I have very fond memories of my time with you and highly endorse the program.
