Thank you, Joyce for an informative talk. I am interested in folk art, but never heard about wall cloths. Now, I am more knowledgeable. Enjoyed your great images embedded in presentation of Hungarian exhibits showcasing this art form. Linda
August 27, 2025 at 8:14 pm in reply to: Three Active Years in North America with Ildikó Antal-Ferencz #3463Wonderful to learn about your Transylvania heritage and college time in Budapest. You are an astute journalist and the idea for your books, especially one on Hungarian lives in America is inspiring. Enjoyed your talk so much. Best wishes for a safe move back to Hungary this year. Linda
Thank you for a great presentation and learning more about your personal history. I visited Kecskemet back in 1994 and 1996. It is a beautiful city. I wished I knew about Kodaly Institute then and could have visited it. Maybe on another trip. I learned so much from your talk. Next time include a segment/examples of children/adults singing folk songs or using Kodaly method such as “This Old Man.” That would be wonderful. Thank you, Linda.
August 26, 2025 at 8:55 pm in reply to: Across Continents: A Hungarian Heart in South Africa and Beyond with Ildikó O. #3313You are such a talented speaker and presenter on Hungarian communities around the world and in US. The segment on New Mexico was astonishing. I lived out West for 34 years and never knew a Hungarian community there, even if only a couple families. I am interested in history and how Hungarians came to US – where and why they settled in an area. I loved your personal stories and learned so much about your travels and longer stays in Hungary. You have led a fascinating life. Thank you for sharing.

Never heard about Arcanum, but now I will now turn to it for information!! Your presentation was great and you are a very poised speaker.
August 26, 2025 at 8:39 pm in reply to: Memories Sewn Together: A Journey Through Art and Hungarian Heritage #3310Dear Noemi, I would like to see more images of you creating your collages. You are very talented! I noticed the small pictures of art works in background of your presentation. I love collages made from found objects, especially historic or personal memorabilia. Please look at California artist Virginia Ray’s works at http://www.virginiaray.net. I think you both have same sensibility. Thank you for sharing your wonderful art!!.
August 26, 2025 at 8:29 pm in reply to: The linguistic landscape of American Hungarian cemeteries: Who is Hungarian in the cemetery? with Anna Fenyvesi #3308Great presentation! I walk in cemeteries often and wonder about grave stone epithets often, especially in another language. You provided answers to my questions when I view these markers in Cleveland OH cemeteries. Thank you, so informative,
