I was born and raised in Pepper Pike, Ohio, which is a suburb of Cleveland. We lived on the east side. I miss Ohio A LOT and hope to retire in Chagrin Falls one day! Hope to visit again soon!
I still have a cousin that lives in Budapest. I am connected with my mom’s city of Debrecen and my dad’s of Koromla. They are all great cities because of their vast history.
I did grow up learning Hungarian in our home. My parents taught me and I spoke it my whole life until about 20 years ago when I had no one to speak it with. So I recently am re-learning the language with the courses that are offered in Hungarian Living! It’s great because it’s a beginners course to refresh my memory and learn the actual grammar of the language.
